Job Description
Managing a team of project engineers/manager
Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria that align with business goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with production schedules and resource availability.
Identify potential risks within the production environment and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in production, quality control, and supply chain operations to drive operational excellence.
Conduct root-cause analysis on project challenges and apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Implement new technologies or process changes that improve production efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance product quality.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication on project objectives, timelines, and progress.
Prepare and present regular updates, status reports, and post-project reviews to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating terms that align with project goals and budget constraints.
Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Allocate and manage resources, coordinating with various departments to optimize utilization without disrupting routine production.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
10+ years of experienceinproject managementwithin an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge offood and beverage manufacturing processes , supply chain management, and lean manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in project management software
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production-related challenges.
Strategic thinking and an ability to balance short-term needs with long-term objectives.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
