We are looking for an exceptional individual who will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials, parts, supplies, and equipment, optimizing price, delivery, and payment terms.
The ChallengesSourcing, Negotiation, Cost Control
Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials, parts, supplies and equipment following established purchasing procedures and optimizing price, delivery and terms.
Evaluate vendors' quotations to ensure that they are in line with the specifications required.
Take charge of operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery.
Responsible for negotiating the best quality, price, terms, and service with suppliers.
Build and develop relationships with suppliers.
Support QS Contract Team with quotations for tendering.
Control costs/expenses based on contract budget.
Negotiate and prepare documents for custom clearance with overseas vendors.
Analyze potential vendors and suppliers for future project needs.
Maintain Purchasing files and records.
Mentor purchasing executives (2 staff).
Manage drivers for timely delivery of materials (3 staff).
Stock-Taking
Ensure required machinery on site/warehouse are in working order.
