Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to build and maintain long-term relationships with our clients. Your role will involve managing a portfolio of customers, expanding business with existing clients, and seeking new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for customer accounts.
Develop and sustain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Negotiate and finalize contracts to maximize profits.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and stakeholders.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs.
Report on progress of monthly/quarterly goals to both internal and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for growth with existing clients to meet sales targets.
Track and forecast key account metrics (e.g., monthly/quarterly sales).
Prepare detailed reports on account status.
Collaborate with the Retail Sales team and station dealers to expand opportunities.
Address and resolve client issues and escalations.
Ensure timely customer payment and manage overdue accounts.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree level education.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales.
Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role.
Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in both English and Malay, written and spoken.
Skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Valid driving license and own a car.
