Job description
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand the customer base.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their requirements and present suitable products or services.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate new business leads.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales materials.
Negotiation and Closing:
Lead negotiations with clients to close deals that meet both client needs and company profitability targets.
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and agreements to clients.
Follow up on sales leads and ensure timely and effective closing of sales deals.
Team Leadership and Mentoring:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales staff, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their sales targets. Share best practices and sales techniques with the team.
Assist in the recruitment and training of new sales personnel.
Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular updates to senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Prepare and deliver presentations on sales performance and strategic initiatives.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services and stay updated on industry developments.
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients.
