We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team asSenior Specialist - Financial Accounting . Reporting to theTeam Lead , this full-time and permanent position is based inBangsar South, Kuala Lumpurand offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to ourFinancial Accountingand its growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Book-keeping and accounting entries to accounting system (eg. accruals, adjustments).
Responsible for timely preparation of accounts - weekly, month-end, financial year end closing and aging/listings.
Work independently on accounting and management report and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Prepare accounting reports and deliverables and ensure submission within agreed timelines.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, monitor unusual items and movement, and investigate reconciling items.
Meet Business Unit/client requirements/instructions and ensure on-time and on-quality deliverables.
Prepare manual journal entries at month end and ensure that the supporting documentation for each manual journal entry is complete, adequate, and accurate.
Perform monthly income tax calculation if required.
Handle ad hoc activities as assigned.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in accounting, finance or relevant field of work.
Have experience in reviewing juniors' tasks.
Experience working in client service or SSC environment will be an added advantage.
Diploma/Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting/financial or its equivalent.
ACCA, MIA, CPA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
