Job Description Job Summary: The company is a Korean convenience store franchise, is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to develop and execute our Supply Chain business strategy.
The scope includes acquiring resources within budget, delivering products and services according to planned and unplanned requirements.
The goal is to minimize costs by overseeing or coordinating purchasing, shipping, logistic and financial forecasting services or activities.
This includes directing the movement and storage of goods and effectively managing dynamic inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement supply chain solutions that align with business strategies, adapting to evolving market conditions, emerging business opportunities, and cost effective practices.
Cultivate and manage relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Oversee logistics operations and procurement needs.
Train relevant staff on supply chain management (SCM) policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to SCM processes.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers regarding various procurement needs.
Evaluate supplier performance to ensure they meet quality and delivery standards.
Oversee and manage the procurement cycle, including purchasing processes.
Maintain industry best practices and identify goods and services for contracting purposes.
Supervise the tender evaluation process to ensure compliance with regulations and applicable laws.
Ensure competitive quotations are obtained.
Conduct monthly reviews of all SCM activities.
Manage procurement team employees to optimize business performance and deliver superior service to key stakeholders.
Track and monitor performance in line with policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
Provide continuous feedback and coaching to staff.
Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field Proficient in supply chain management practices Excellent analytical skills and self-motivated Over 7 years of experience in supply chain management (SCM), with at least 3 years in a management role leading SCM teams Global awareness and strong business ethics Experience working with retail, FMCG, or F&B companies is a plus
