Job Responsibilities: - Responsible to carry out tasks including disassembly, inspection of the component, assessing parts condition, cleaning of parts, parts repairing, parts replacement, and final acceptance test performance including troubleshooting in accordance with component maintenance manuals and/or other approved technical documents/data. Perform all tasks to the FAA, EASA, CAAS and CAAM approved procedures.
- Prepare a concise and accurate documentation package for every repaired or overhauled unit.
- Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed.
- Troubleshoot, investigate and give shop finding report to customer about faulty of unserviceable condition and provide quotation for repair, overhaul and modification. Ensure safety regulations and component are met, and complete reports verifying conformance to standards.
- Develop a clear understanding of all FAA, EASA, CAAS and CAAM approved procedures. Maintain a current knowledge of all requirements.
- Effectively communicate and cooperatively work with management and co-workers to ensure the efficient processing of repairs through the MRO facility and with internal departments such as quality, customer service, warehouse, logistics, etc. and external customers and auditors as required.
- Ensure that all required training/re-training requirements are achieved and properly documented for record keeping. Participate in department continuous improvement projects.
- Train other technicians as required in the maintenance and repair of the components.
- Complete daily checks, weekly checks and monthly checklist for all chemicals and basic tools in shop
Job Qualification: - Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance
- Good written and verbal communications skills in English
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the maintenance of mechanical, repair and overhaul of aircraft components are preferred
- Able to read, understand and interpret Service Bulletin (SB), Airworthiness Directive (AD), Standard Practice Manual (SPM), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) and other related approved technical data- Knowledge and prior training on CDCCL (Critical Design Configuration Control Limitation) are highly advantageous although not mandatory
- Experiences in aircraft/engine accessory maintenance
- Knowledgeable in Air Legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- ERP experience (SAP)
