Your Key Responsibilities Managing all tasks and employees in Shared Service Center Purchasing Asia/Pacific and being responsible for the integration of additional countries within Asia/Pacific. Responsible in evaluating and actively implementing new processes and systems and making sure all respective employees are complying to those in order to enhance efficacy and efficiency of the SSC Purchasing Asia/Pacific. Implementation and improvement of the Shared Service Center project for Asia/Pacific Region. Managing local SSC Purchasing employees and monitor relevant targets and figures. Steering and Implementation of PSSC AP Purchasing Strategy. Monitoring of project implementation and initiation of countermeasures if the project target is jeopardized. Regular coordination with the relevant specialist departments and the regional/local contact partners in order to increase customer satisfaction. Active integration of new countries into PSSC AP and enhancement of PSSC scope to improve service level and scope. Proactive communication with peer leaders and higher management to promote smooth SSC Purchasing communication. Active alignment and coordination with central SSC Purchasing organization in Europe to further establish the standard of SSC Purchasing Asia/Pacific. Proactive development of SSC Purchasing Asia/Pacific strategy and carry out required measures to achieve strategy & targets. Your Qualifications Degree in Business or a technical field, or equivalent qualifications, coupled with extensive professional experience in Purchasing are essential. Prior managerial or leadership experience, ideally in an international setting or Shared-Service Center. Proficiency in English is a must; proficiency in Japanese or Korean would be advantageous.
