Service Engineer (Kl&Jb)

Provide overall service support to the Company's clients for the Power Generators and/or Marine engines and equipment, maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism at all times.

Faulty Engines, Equipment and Generators Troubleshoot generators or marine engines and equipment to ascertain the cause of malfunction or breakdown.Offer alternative solutions to problems and provide relevant costing should replacement of parts be required.
 Testing, Installation and Commissioning  Assist in the installation of generators and/or marine engines and equipment and any other modification work required.Assist in the commissioning and testing of generators and / or engines and equipment.
 After Sales Service Ensure adequate after sales service by performing regular servicing and maintenance on marine engines and/or generators assigned.Provide technical assistance and advice to sales personnel and/or customersProvide the Parts & Service Manager with market information, complaints and customer expectations when available. Service Report Ensure that all service records are updated by preparing and submitting service reports
promptly upon completion of every servicing assignment.
 REQUIREMENTS Min Diploma / Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering2 to 3 yrs experience in servicing of Control Switch Gear and equipment like AC & DC alternators and circuitsKnowledge of electronic and automation is an added advantageDriving licence preferredMust be prepared to work beyond normal working hours
