You will work closely with the game designers, and developers to create compelling audio assets that elevate our projects to the next level.
What You Can Expect to Work On Compose and produce original music scores that align with the artistic vision and mood of our games.
Design and implement dynamic sound effects that enhance gameplay, immersion, and player engagement.
Collaborate with game designers, directors, and other team members to understand and interpret the audio needs of the game.
Create adaptive audio systems that respond to in-game events and player actions, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Manage and oversee the audio integration process, ensuring that all audio assets are seamlessly incorporated into the game.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in audio design and music composition.
Provide feedback and creative input during playtesting and production phases to refine and enhance the audio experience.
Collaborate with external outsourcers and provide feedback when necessary.
Maintain organised documentation of audio assets, including sound effects libraries and music compositions.
Requirements What You Need to Succeed: Proven experience as a composer and sound designer in the video game industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency with industry-standard audio production tools and software (e.g., Pro Tools, Ableton Live, FMOD, Wwise).
Strong understanding of music theory, composition, and orchestration, with the ability to create diverse musical styles and genres.
Strong understanding of Unreal Engine and Metasounds.
Experience designing and implementing interactive sound effects and adaptive audio systems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
A passion for video games and a deep understanding of how audio contributes to the gaming experience.
