The Responsibilities Of The JobTo assist Assistant Logistic & Warehouse Manager in daily logistics and shipping activities and help coordinate with the Logistic & Warehouse and Business Development and Customer Service teams, shipping agents, forwarding agents, customs, hauliers, etc., for the dispatch or collection of goods at the plant, warehouse, or port.
To assist the Assistant Logistic & Warehouse Manager in executing all relevant tasks related to Shipment and Logistics.
Supporting Logistic & Warehouse and OEM Sales/Business Development in terms of documentation and coordination work.
Support and assist in monitoring the activities carried out in all shipments (inbound and outbound) and logistics activities such as declaration, clearance, and transportation tasks.
Suggest and provide feedback on the strategy or direction given by the Assistant Logistic & Warehouse Manager to improve shipment, logistics, and increase productivity & efficiency.
Assist the Assistant Logistic & Warehouse Manager in following up and monitoring shipment and logistics activities, especially documentation work, as well as monitoring service providers such as 3rd party transporters and forwarding agents to reduce downtime, increase productivity, and reduce costs.
Provide suggestions or feedback on the implementation of processes or workflows to reduce problems in logistics issues related to shipment and 3rd party service providers.
Work closely and coordinate with the Operations team, Warehouse, and Customer Service for collection of goods activities in the warehouse and deliveries.
Coordinate closely with Sales/Business Development, Customer Service & Operations teams to ensure the smooth operation of logistics and shipment activities, including local & export orders, shipment, stock status, clearance, and documentation work.
Act as a back-up to support Logistic & Warehouse Executive and Coordinator for the 3rd party transportation arrangement for import, delivery, and dispatch (local & export) purposes.
Assist and support the Assistant Logistic & Warehouse Manager to comply with local customs regulations and HSE regulations or policies, while also maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard.
Assist and support the Assistant Logistic & Warehouse Manager and Accounts department for the month-end and year-end/annual stock take (secondary task).
Assist and support the Assistant Logistic & Warehouse Manager and QC for any customer complaints related to Shipment and Logistics issues from local & overseas customers.
Undertake any other logistics and shipment-related tasks as deemed appropriate.
