Handle end-to-end shipment processes including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.
Manage import/export documentation such as LCs (Letter of Credit), BLs (Bill of Lading), and other related shipping documents.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any logistical issues or delays proactively.
Maintain a well-organized system for tracking and managing shipment-related documents and schedules.
Pay close attention to detail to avoid errors in shipment documentation and processes.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and adapt to various time zones and work schedules to coordinate with international stakeholders.
Work effectively under pressure to meet shipment deadlines and delivery schedules.
Handle any ad-hoc assignments and complete them within a very short timeframe.
Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work under pressure.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling international shipments.
In-depth knowledge of international shipping practices, customs regulations, and documentation requirements.
Proficiency in handling LCs, BLs, and other shipping-related documents.
Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
