About the role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team at SIK CHEONG EDIBLE OIL SDN BHD in Ampang, Selangor. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for a variety of financial accounting and reporting duties to support the overall business objectives.
What you'll be doing Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliationsProduce timely and accurate financial reports, such as monthly and quarterly statements, budgets, and cash flow projectionsAssist with the preparation of the annual financial statements and audit processEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policiesProvide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controlsStay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practicesWhat we're looking for Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or its equivalentProfessional qualification such as ACCA, CPA is advantageousRegistered member of the Malaysian Institute of Accounting (MIA) is desirableKnowledge in Accounting softwareAt least 4-5 years of experience in full set of accounts (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and General Ledger)Strong knowledge in budgeting and financial analysisProficient in data analysisA team player with the ability to manage a team and work across all levels within the organizationGood interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of proficiency in verbal and written English and Bahasa MalaysiaGood analytical skills, result oriented, organized, detailed and committed to deadlinesAction oriented, innovative and resourceful with the ability to work independently in a dynamic & fast paced environmentPossess problem solving and decision-making skillsComputer literate with knowledge in MS Office applicationsProven experience in consolidations, reconciliation and IPO requirement.What we offer
