Site Engineer (C & S, M & E)/Site Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:  Oversee daily construction activities at the project site, ensuring they are executed according to plans, specifications, and timelines. Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety compliance, and adherence to construction standards. Manage and coordinate site resources, labor, materials, and equipment and machinery to optimize efficiency and productivity. Resolve on-site issues promptly by identifying solutions and communicating effectively with all relevant parties, including general workers. Prepare and maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, work logs, and quality control documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety among team members and subcontractors. Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams, offering solutions to engineering challenges that may arise. Review and interpret shop drawings, construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation. Conduct regular meetings with project teams to communicate project status, goals, and expectations. Monitor and manage project budgets, assisting in cost control measures and change order management. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction site. Proficient in construction management software and tools (MS Words, MS Project, AutoCad etc). Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Possess problem-solving and analytical abilities, leadership and team collaboration skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Valid driving licence and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
