ResponsibilitiesAssist Head of Department in contract administration and management plan for assigned projects.
Help coordinate and manage projects from pre-initiation to completion.
Track and directly report status updates to the project manager.
Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner.
Provide information to HOD in creating and adhering to the project timeline and SOP.
Help HOD review project designs and contribute ideas for cutting costs.
Assist Head of Department in preparation of project budget.
Assist HOD to solve problems at the site.
Ensure that all construction works comply with the consultant's drawings.
Assist in ensuring compliance with necessary specifications and authorities' requirements.
Set up meetings and site visits for consultants and contractors.
Value the contractor's progress claim and review contractor monthly site progress.
Coordinate with the contractor on details or sequence and programme of work.
Monitor and control site material wastage.
Monitor and ensure timely submission of work progress as per schedule and specifications.
Confirm with respective consultants on progress claims, payments, VO's, and daily work.
Report daily project updates for record and reference by the project department.
