We are looking for an 'Original' Executive – Social Media who loves to create and strategize content that's finger lickin' good to drive sales and brand score for KFC!
You will be assisting in planning and development of marketing strategies for KFC Marketing and ensuring social, marketing campaigns and activation are buzz-worthy.
You will work across marketing team and agencies to live and breathe Colonel's spirit across our social media channels & campaigns activation to drive positive brand sentiment. Analyses social media trends, including social media and own database data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.
In addition, also required to assist in cross functional projects within the e-commerce marketing team.
Job Scope
Brand custodian of Social media accounts.
Develop social media strategy and framework alongside social media agency with clearly defined objectives, contribute and implement the strategic plan. Ensure each platform stays true to their own role.
Elevate presence of personality of KFC brand through engaging and unique executions that exude the Colonel's spirit whilst still being locally & culturally relevant.
Plan and implement social content calendar by working closely with the mainstream Marketing segment and e-Commerce Marketing teams to achieve commercial goals and brand engagement, ensuring execution is on time.
Champion consumer experience that is in line with brand personality and CI, surprise and delight consumer with every social execution across platforms.
Continuously look for ways to improve social media platform in line with business objectives – ie driving social commerce, ensuring smooth customer experience etc).
Manage social activation for marketing campaigns.
Execution of segment marketing plan and activities – Ensure all marketing materials are delivered accurately and on time by working with various partners eg. Agencies, internals and third parties.
Ensure all social activation components are planned thoroughly for smooth execution, including coordination with Corporate Comms / Media agency for KOL drops.
Work with agency partners on weekly reports on sentiments and feedback – especially for new product launches.
Active social listening and monitoring.
Analyses social media campaigns and listening to determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
Tracking social analytics from monthly brand health dashboard as well as social alerts and action on it accordingly.
Ensure social responses and escalation are done accordingly on time and liaise closely with Group Corporate Comms and agency partners.
Be alert to social crisis and be fully aware of potential course of action in order to ensure quick and responsive actions are taken.
Positioned KFC as modern, locally and culturally relevant whilst maintaining our brand personality & voice.
Increase brand love and engagement with KFC brand, focus on our customer sentiments.
Generate buzz and talkability of KFC through social activations / postings.
Monitor and track any incurring expenses closely.
Manages FB Chatbot and other owned digital assets.
Research and track on what competitors / industry are doing and social media trends to identify current and future opportunities.
Qualification and Job Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass communication & PR or relevant qualifications.
Preferably having at least 2 years relevant work experience on digital platforms including social media.
Passionate fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
Active users of Social Media channels and strong understanding of its features.
Passionate for all social media platform and KFC.
Understand how to bring alive brand tone & voice in social content.
Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English, Chinese is a plus.
Resourceful, proactive and keen to learn with ability to get inspiration to generate new ideas.
Ability to work with agency partners / in-house studio including stakeholders.
