Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our team at British American Tobacco Malaysia in George Town, Penang. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and ultimately grow our online presence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive engagement
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to track the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all social media channels
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
- Manage social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and drive conversions
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner to engage with our online community
- Monitor and manage online reviews and reputation management on social media platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Hardworking and confident with a passion for social media marketing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with social media advertising is a plus
