Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Specialist to become a key part of Animoca Brands' Marketing team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in crafting and managing engaging content across multiple Animoca Brands' global social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and foster community engagement.
You will work closely with the Social Media Manager and collaborate with the broader marketing team to implement strategies that increase our presence, particularly within Chinese communities.
Responsibilities
Work with the Social Media Manager to create and share engaging content across our global social media platforms to connect with our audience and grow brand awareness (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Warpcast).
Research and suggest effective strategies to increase Animoca Brands' presence within the Chinese community.
Focus on adapting content for Chinese audiences, ensuring it is both accurate in language and culturally relevant.
Assist in the video recording and distribution of our podcast.
Actively engage with our online community by responding efficiently to comments and questions in English and Chinese.
Keep track of competitor social media tactics and stay updated with industry trends.
Share creative ideas and fresh perspectives during team brainstorming sessions to improve our social media strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
1-2 years of experience preferred; however, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Strong copywriting skills in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese
Experience with social media platforms, either on a personal or professional level (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok especially)
Familiarity with China's major social media platforms is important
Awareness of new social media trends and ability to quickly adapt and use this knowledge
Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills, ready to thrive in a team environment
