As a Software Project Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of IT software application projects.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our systems and processes, ensuring they align with the company's goals while fostering collaboration and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for IT software applications within the insurance domain, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet business objectives.
Oversee the development and migration of core systems and peripheral solutions to support the company's strategic goals efficiently.
Monitor and report squad progress against project plans, using key metrics to ensure alignment and transparency.
Maintain and enhance databases by performing testing, debugging, and modifications to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and conduct in-depth system studies to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Develop and manage project schedules, allocate workloads, and conduct project reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Analyze system requirements and designs, identifying opportunities for enhancement and improvement.
Debug and maintain application system program errors to ensure system stability and reliability.
Foster collaboration between squads and System and Solution Architects/Engineering for seamless project execution.
Facilitate governance meetings, including daily stand-ups and weekly reviews, to maintain project momentum.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:7+ years of project management experience in IT software applications, with a strong preference for candidates in the insurance industry in Malaysia.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
Certifications such as CSM, PMP, Agile, or Prince2 are highly advantageous.Skills:Proven track record of managing software application projects from initiation to delivery.
Strong understanding of system migration and enhancement processes.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
