Software Research and Development ManagerWe are looking for someone who is able to:
Manage a development team of team leads, system analysts, and software engineers to perform the research and development activities.
Constantly look for suitable and available latest technology that can be applicable.
Manage the task assignment of the team members as well as issue resolution.
Assist team members, and when necessary, perform technical analysis.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports. Assist in legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of agreement) process if required.
Coach, motivate, and engage team members to ensure work is performed in accordance with the set software development policies, procedures, and standards.
Identify areas for improvement for the team and be willing to take extra steps for changes to happen.
Be competent in Project Management in the software development life cycle.
Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment.
What you should have:
At least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience in software development life-cycle, analyzing, and system designing.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Experience with project management and leadership skills.
Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English.

Have formal project management training or certification (PMP, Agile, etc.).
