Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier development and maintenance across the Southeast Asia region. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers in the Southeast Asia region to meet the company's procurement needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement requirements and align supplier capabilities accordingly.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and new suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and supplier performance to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a QS500 accredited institution.
- Proven experience in supplier development and procurement, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier capabilities and market conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
