Ansell is looking for aSpecialist, Regulatory Affairs - Environmentto join our team inKrakow, PL or Cyberjaya, MY.
In this position, you will play a vital role in monitoring and providing support to ensure that Ansell complies with the applicable environmental regulations globally, both for the GPMO organization and the regions.
This position focuses on regulations affecting the raw materials entering into the composition of finished goods, the sustainability claims made over them, as well as their end of life, applying in all countries.
What your role will be?
Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting chemicals, raw materials, packaging, and product disposal, including reporting obligations and taxes.
Communicate legislative updates and integrate changes into Ansell's procedures, products, and documentation, collaborating with Quality Assurance, R&D, Marketing, and Sustainability.
Manage product labeling and artwork communication as needed.
Respond to technical environmental regulatory inquiries, particularly regarding chemical restrictions (e.g., REACH, Prop65) in all jurisdictions.
Develop and maintain an internal chemicals roadmap, including a database, supplier data collection, and alert system for new restrictions.
Address inquiries related to compliance with environmental laws on deforestation, raw material sourcing, and performance claims.
Oversee compliance programs related to EU Ecodesign, Digital Passport, ERP, and Green claims regulations.
Assist the Associate Director with daily tasks and regional projects.
Deliver presentations and training sessions as required.
Provide backup for other Regulatory Specialists' duties.
Perform other relevant regulatory tasks.
What will you bring to Ansell?
Demonstrated experience in Regulatory Affairs, Quality or Technical function, preferably in Chemical background.
Solid understanding of applicable environmental regulations: REACH, PROP 65, TSCA, POP's ESPR, Green Claims, Waste Framework Directive, etc.
Proven record of Quality Assurance methodologies.
Positive, flexible, and proactive individual with strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
Problem-solving abilities to support regulatory compliance.
Results-driven with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong PC literacy, specifically with PowerPoint and Excel.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
