About the roleYAYASAN IPOH' is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak.
As a Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client
Provide direct therapy sessions to clients, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and physiotherapists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care
Maintain accurate and detailed client records, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices in speech therapy
Contribute to the growth and development of the Speech Therapy department by sharing your expertise and ideas
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
Registered with the Malaysian Board of Speech-Language Pathologists or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Therapist in a clinical or healthcare setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to develop effective treatment plans
Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
