Key Responsibilities:Lead Site Supplier Performance and RelationshipsNegotiate with suppliers to meet business needs and support site audits
Support capital budgeting and cash flow management, and the execution of Global Procurement strategies
Implement cost savings and process improvement programsRecommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions
Implement processes to monitor performance with key suppliersAnalyze sourcing trends and make recommendations
Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting
Apply should-cost models for assigned categoriesIdentify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers
Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets
Provide market intelligence and category price trends
Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.
Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiationIncorporate savings targets and contract requirements
Develop sourcing strategy and drive sourcing events for construction and design. This includes RFQ or RFP, negotiations with bidders, and bid awards with DA.
Business PartneringEngage in cross-functional collaboration
Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories
Drive a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement
Claim ResolutionCoordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.
Monitor the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure the best quality at the best value.
Recommend cost-saving proposals, including make vs. buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria.
You are:Experienced in category management and construction procurement, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industry
Demonstrate experience in strategic sourcing8+ years of experience in Construction Procurement, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Preconstruction Services, Budgeting and/or Cost control.
Proficient in written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management, Supply Chain, or similar relevant field.
