Where you come in:
Create, test and build a standard desktop software packaging and deployment.
Maintain software and applications catalogues, update Windows 10/11 OS (or equivalent), manage security patches, push patches and OS updates via PC management software such as SCCM, CMG and Intune.
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop/laptop hardware and software.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktop/laptop systems, including but not limited to troubleshooting hardware failures, operating system errors, and application malfunctions. Provide technical support and help to end-users, including troubleshooting user-reported issues and providing guidance on software and hardware usage.
Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement desktop/laptop deployment strategies, including system imaging and software distribution.
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to improve the performance and efficiency of desktop/laptop systems.
Maintain accurate records of desktop/laptop inventory, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Stay up to date with advancements in desktop/laptop technology and recommend relevant updates and improvements to the IT infrastructure.
Assist in the planning and execution of desktop/laptop-related projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, rollouts, and Vulnerability remediations.
Implement security measures to protect desktop/laptop systems from potential threats, including antivirus software, firewalls, and encryption.
Effective communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with end-users and IT teams.
Train and mentor junior members of the IT team on desktop/laptop maintenance and support best practices. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
What makes you successful:
You have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant experience with specialist qualification like MCSE.
You have 3-5 years' relevant experiences.
You possess solid technical background, including experience working with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows 10 and Office 365.
You have knowledgein SCCM, Intune, IBCM or CMG to deploy software patches into computers.
You possess experience of Basic Networking, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, AD Connect and mobile device management.
You possess experience of troubleshooting PC/Server Hardware and Software issues.
You have proven experience of 1st or 2nd line support experience (essential).
You have proficienxy to program in Powershell, VB.net, Batch, system configuration will be an advantage.
Having knowledge in Acronis would be a plus.

Experience and Education Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
