Job DescriptionThe candidate is responsible for assessment, implementation, testing, and technical documentation for the existing SCCM infrastructure. A strong understanding of deployments for both servers and workstations is required. Experience in Wintel administration and application packaging skills is also essential. Additionally, experience in PowerShell, automation, and optimization of client computing environments is desired.
Responsibilities and Skill RequirementsStrong Windows knowledge and understanding of the SCCM architecture and design.
Create and manage boundary groups across one or more distribution points.
Perform in-console upgrades.
Perform client agent upgrades.
Create query-based collections.
Experience in configuration of CMG and cloud distribution points.
Configure site collection maintenance windows.
Manage distribution points and distribute the images accordingly.
Create a deployment task sequence and deploy the task sequence.
Manage packages for operating system deployments.
Knowledge in Intune management and configurations.
Experience in setup Desktop Analytics, SCCM integration, and management.
Monitor updates via Automatic Deployment Rules (ADR) and update groups.
Experience in VMware/Hyper-V installation and management.
Knowledge with deploying and supporting Active Directory.
Knowledge of Windows administration activities and basic troubleshooting.
Knowledge of networking concepts.
Assist the team in troubleshooting issues.
Versatile and flexible with different technologies and solutions.
Knowledge in application packaging.
Proficient with documentation of standards, knowledgebase articles, how-tos, and other operational guides.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on tasks.
Hands-on working knowledge and understanding of desktop, laptop, mobile devices, Windows, and other EUC operating systems and devices.
Strong knowledge in Windows client and AD migrations.
Experience in Windows server patching and vulnerability assessment.
Windows and other EUC related certifications.
Participate in audits and provide appropriate information.
Familiarity with the ITIL process of incident and change management.
PrerequisitesExperience with operating system deployment solution implementation.
Experience with System Center Configuration Manager Current branch.
Understanding of Active Directory and networking.
Experience with Qualys Vulnerability Assessment Tool.
Knowledge of Windows 10 features.
Experience in handling teams in pressurized environments.
Basic RequirementsThe candidate would be responsible for managing patch compliance in different business units.
Between 8 to 10 years of relevant domain experience using tools such as SCCM, Windows ADK, and patching using third-party tools.
Ability to understand and analyze SCCM deployment issues and use judgment to make decisions.
Skills in Windows server administration and troubleshooting.
Experience in application packaging.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work on technical design, development, and implementation decisions in areas of specialization.
The candidate would be responsible for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for managing desktops and servers.
Knowledge of Autopilot and Intune.
The candidate would be responsible for creating end-to-end desktop and server deployment solutions.
