Staff/Engineer - Supplier Quality

Job Description

- Responsible of supplier quality in ASEAN countries for the commodity of molded plastic parts, rubbers, turned parts, and gearboxes.
- Align with commercial buyer on supplier strategies and ensure development of supplier competencies to meet the requirements.
- Ensure quality stability and sustainability with close interaction with quality organization of suppliers.
- Conduct audit, new production line release, supplier quality escalation.
- Ensure zero defect delivery, and customer satisfaction towards excellent product quality.
- Ensure good quality performance by existing and newly appointed suppliers.
- Provide effective supplier quality management for significant business success through supply chain excellent.
- Able to support other material fields or some functions, as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, or Mechatronics, or its equivalent with relevant working experience in quality management and project.
- Possesses strong knowledge in electronics manufacturing related processes and quality systems, project management, product development & lean management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in prohibited/hazardous substances management.
- Exceptional versatility and adaptability skills with good knowledge in product development, & manufacturing environment.
- High level of result and target achievement attitude and strong ability to handle complexity of work and situation.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage), self-driven, ability to work independently and literacy in MS Office applications.
