XC plays a leading role in shaping the dynamic shift toward ever more digitalization in the vehicle.The Research and Development team in Penang location is the center of global engineering for this business division. Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) is divided into five sections:Engineering Software and System TestProject ManagementProject management and engineering support for small control units (xCU)Engineering Hardware and MechanicsProduct data management, resource management and central servicesAs a Staff/Senior Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Selecting the appropriate algorithm/concept and developing it further to tackle typical problems based on solid knowledge in your respective field.Contributing to the implementation of new technical concepts within your team.Applying established implementation strategies to successfully resolve typical problems.Contributing to a wider range of medium complexity software engineering tasks such as requirement engineering or deriving suitable architecture.Actively ensuring the quality of the deliverables of the team.Investigating the root cause of observed problems and contributing to fixing them.Communicating with internal stakeholders (e.g., POs, other teams) to justify decisions, answer technical questions, resolve issues, or support acquisitions.Collaborating with team members to deliver feature increments.Aligning contributions to a larger feature with colleagues from other teams.Supporting less experienced colleagues to master technical challenges.Making appropriate technical trade-offs fitting to given business goals.Performing any other duties as assigned to accomplish related results as needed.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering.Proven working experience in embedded software engineering.Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.Experience with one or more architectures using different microcontrollers with real-time constraints is a plus.Solid programming experience in C or object-oriented programming.Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components.Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.Able to integrate and work in a team.Leave Entitlement: Annual Leave, Medical Leave, and more.#J-18808-Ljbffr
