Job Details: Job Description: Drives the design, development, and application of sound data practices through the advancement of algorithms and statistical techniques including descriptive statistics and inferential methods, multivariate analysis, regression analysis, etc. Conducts statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the study, identifies and quantifies sources of variation, discovers patterns in the data, and draws conclusions that go beyond the observed data. Identifies new opportunities for reports and value-added analytics, researches new methods in statistics, data science, and machine learning. Writes reports, develops dashboards, and prepares data visualizations. Assists cross-functional teams with decision making by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data. Works across projects and uses statistical and mathematical skills to understand data trends before presenting reports to business managers and stakeholders. Provides statistical support to projects, consults with managers, engineers, and technicians on engineering methodologies, data analysis, and experimental design. Applies advanced statistical techniques to create high performing predictive models and creative analyzes to address business objectives and client needs, responding to customer requests as required. Democratizes analytical methods through teaching and collaboration, drives development and maintenance of Statistical Process Control infrastructure, data integrity management and issue resolution. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements Working towards a bachelor's degree in Statistics or Data Science / Machine Learning. Must be fluent in English Must have completed coursework in Statistical MethodsPreferred Qualifications: Graduate degree student Completed coursework in regression, statistical process control, experimental design, and statistical theory Teaching, tutoring, or consulting experience Excellent presentation skills Experience with JMP statistical softwareRequirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
