Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, well-organized, and possess strong management skills.Location: Banting, Selangor (15 minutes from KLIA Airport).Responsibilities:Upkeep of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System:Implement all ISO procedures in the Store department.Conduct periodic review and analysis of current store operational processes and recommend appropriate updates and changes in the SOP.Upkeep of FSC and PEFC Quality Management System:Implement all FSC and PEFC procedures in the Store department.Conduct periodic review and analysis of current store operational FSC and PEFC processes and recommend appropriate updates and changes in the SOP.Ensure traceability data and documents for FSC and PEFC materials are maintained.DCC and Documents Retention of Production Department:Ensure all down lines exercise proper control & filing system on store-related documents as well as controlled copies of external origins.Ensure all down lines maintain, upkeep, and control all ongoing Store department forms and records to fully comply with the DCC and Quality Record Retention Procedures.Support Production Department to Achieve On-Time Delivery:Monitor material forecast and actual consumption to avoid shortages.Liaise with sales and procurement departments for material forecast and planning.Follow up on material arrival dates with the procurement department and inform the production team.Review and work together with planners to confirm material arrival dates.Raw Material Issuance:Ensure material issued from the store is within the time frame to avoid interruptions in material supply to the production line.Ensure material issued by storekeepers is accurate in quantity and type.Ensure MR issues from production are checked based on actual quantity required.Ensure consumable material issued is controlled to avoid misuse by production personnel.Ensure maintenance-related spare parts are controlled to avoid shortages.Inventory Control:Monitor and manage inventory control.Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date.Manage Slow Moving and Non-Moving Raw Material and Consumable Items:Highlight slow-moving and non-moving items to DH monthly.Submit reports on slow-moving and non-moving raw materials and consumable materials to the Factory Manager.Discuss with DH production and sales to reduce slow-moving and non-moving items in store.Monthly KPI Report:Verify and ensure monthly KPI and departmental goals are submitted on time.Lead the store team to achieve the monthly KPI target.Ensure raw material and consumable material storage is in good condition to avoid damage or degradation.Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.Monitor that stacking standards follow safety regulations.Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.Storage of Flammable and Toxic Material:Ensure storage of flammable and toxic materials complies with safety standards.Incoming Quality / Receiving Inspection:Ensure raw materials needing QA inspection are arranged.Ensure arrangements for plywood quality checking are on time.Arrange transportation for returned raw materials rejected by QA back to suppliers.Ensure non-conformance products are rectified according to standard operating procedures (RDS, RN, CPAR).Ensure rejected and on-hold materials are segregated and identified to avoid unintended use by production.Implement kaizen projects to increase productivity and efficiency.Ensure kaizen cost-saving programs are executed accordingly.5S and Cleanliness:Monitor cleanliness in the work area (5S).Keep the warehouse premises neat and clean.Ensure manpower is utilized for the processes.Reduce the number of workers through process improvement.Fix the number of manpower based on efficiency in store processes.Ensure traceability documents and materials are implemented and followed by store personnel.Safety and Health Regulation:Ensure health and safety regulations are met.Ensure a safe working environment is in place.Enforce health and safety precautions.Daily TPM and Preventive Maintenance on Forklift and Power Tools at Store Department:Monitor and ensure routine preventive maintenance of forklifts and power tools is conducted accordingly.Training & Coaching:Plan training for all store executives, supervisors, line leaders, section leaders, and general workers.Conduct On-The-Job Training for new members and retraining/refreshment training for existing store personnel when necessary.Work with HR to identify training needs for store personnel.Discipline and Counseling of Store Personnel:Oversee discipline and attendance of all store personnel.Evaluate monthly performance of store executives, supervisors, line leaders, section leaders, and general workers.Supervise and motivate a team of workers.Other Tasks:Perform other tasks as stipulated by top
