The Supply Chain Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, materials, and services.
This role involves planning, coordination, and communication across various departments and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals and maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
Coordinate inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.Procurement and Vendor Management:Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.
Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with vendors.Logistics and Distribution:Oversee transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods.
Collaborate with logistics providers to resolve issues and improve delivery performance.Demand and Supply Planning:Analyze sales forecasts and trends to predict future inventory needs.
Work with sales and production teams to align supply with demand.Data Analysis and Reporting:Track and analyze key supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Generate regular reports on inventory, procurement, and logistics performance.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and trade laws, including the management of any regulatory paperwork.
Maintain accurate records of import/export activities, shipping details and trade documentations to ensure full traceability and compliance.Qualifications and Skills:
Education:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:2-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related role.
Preferably specialized in Japanese Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., D365, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
Analytical Skills:Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
Other Skills:Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
