As a member of the SIMA Finance Team, the Supply Chain Finance Lead acts as an active business partner providing business and financial analysis support in line with business strategies to the overall Supply Chain Function. This position is the key liaison between the Finance and Supply Chain function, keeping both aligned to SIMA's strategic goals.
Key Duties / Responsibilities Process and Internal Control Act as a single point of contact on all matters relating to process and internal controls for Supply Chain Function. Lead the monthly stock take of all raw material and finished goods including stock variance reconciliation. Participate in PO related process improvement, GRIR process compliance and goods receipt and issuance accuracy. Enhance controls and accountability on asset replacement, addition, and disposal as well as inventory management process. Manage overall Supply Chain function P/L (preparation, analysis, report out). Evaluate accruals required at month end by comparing budget, actual spend vs. un-recorded transactions for submission to Accounting team monthly. Lead Business Planning cycle for Supply Chain function, with final deliverables of P/L to Financial Planning and Analysis Team. Lead Rolling estimates for Supply Chain function monthly. Analyze actual results against plan and provide detailed narratives to Supply Chain and FP&A team monthly. Drive course correct actions with Supply Chain function on Finance and Business initiatives. Support the annual costing upload process. Business Partnering Act as a pro-active business partner to the Supply Chain function on matters relating to finance and processes. Participate and lead discussion on Cost Saving Initiatives for Supply Chain function. Monitor, control, and positively influence Supply Chain OPEX spending (Manufacturing & Logistics) in accordance with Budget, by Cost Center including driving the monthly financial review with Supply Chain. Monitor (consolidate weekly and monthly) raw material yield and usage variance by production line. Implement dashboard system for enhanced visibility. Discuss results with Production Manager/ Supply Chain Director to drive corrective actions on periodic basis. Enhance process discipline in production orders consumptions and completion daily. Evaluate capital projects for reasonableness (NPV/IRR) prior to submission to Financial Planning and Analysis Team. Lead ad-hoc Supply Chain project analysis. Identify, review, and analyze loss points (FG, RM/PM, general waste, etc.) proactively and highlight to Supply Chain function for corrective actions. Maintains safe and healthy working environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Related Position Requirements/Qualifications Education: Degree/ Post Degree/Professional Certification in Finance/ Accountancy or any other relevant field Experience : 5-6 years' relevant experience in FMCG/beverage manufacturing environment or any other related field with a strong finance background. Capability: Ability to interact with all personnel from various department. Good and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Competent in the usage and application of relevant accounting software (preferably in SAP) Mathematical & statistical reasoning.
