About the role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Inventory Manager for this position to plan and oversee the execution of end-to-end supply chain operations by ensuring timely receiving & distribution, optimal utilization of resources/manpower, coherent purchase facilitation, inventory accuracy, inventory management, efficient processes, and integrated operational coordination.
Additionally, it involves leading warehouse, logistics, inventory, and operations team leaders to achieve organizational goals while ensuring optimized costs and compliance with company policies/SOPs.
This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to drive efficiencies while ensuring high service and cost management standards.
What you'll be doing
Supply Chain CoordinationManage end-to-end demand and supply planning activities to reduce lead time, variability, and disruption in the supply chain to support retail, e-commerce wholesale, corporate, and export sales.
Collaborate with commercial, retail, and finance leaders to understand business needs and requirements to support business growth and regional expansion
Use data analytics methodologies and tools to improve supply chain management, operations, and efficiency
Work with team leaders to establish and achieve KPIs/efficiency and cost optimization.
Support the establishment of a supply chain structure in new subsidiaries/countries, including warehouse setup, SOP/workflows, and staff training.Purchase AdministrationManage Purchase Admin team on the processing of orders and track the progress of deliveries from Supplier
Ensure timely updates to Buyers to ensure product availability, align demand plans, and seamless product launches
Ensure accurate inventory costing especially landed cost input
Resolve issues with vendors regarding production delays, QC issues, and receiving discrepancyWarehouse & Logistics ManagementOversee Warehouse Manager on warehouse management (inbound, outbound, storage, capacity and stock accuracy, compliance to health & safety regulations)
Ensure stock/inventory accuracy including enforcing cycle count/stock check and investigation on stock discrepancy
Manage Logistics team in liaising with service providers/forwarders and suppliers for timely shipment, customs clearance, and delivery mode
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, import/export regulations, and customs procedures related to supply chain operations
Review and optimize warehousing and logistics costs without compromising quality/efficiency
Address problems in delivery and finding appropriate solutionsInventory ProcessingOversee Inventory Team on accurate inventory processing including timely month-end and year-end closing
Ensure accurate inventory costing including landed cost input and cost re-valuation
Maintain supply chain inventory records for audit purposes
Ensure stock adjustments are verified and processed accordingly based on approval limitsInventory AuditOversee Stock Audit team in scheduling and execution of stock counts at outlets
Oversee Warehouse Manager on stock accuracy in warehouse locations
Ensure comprehensive investigation of stock discrepancy
Review and improve stock audit processes to ensure speedy and accurate stock count
Prepare audit reports to monitor stock integrity, detect irregularities, and propose suggestions to deter stock loss
Oversee Claims team in attending to defective claims from Outlets and customers
Ensure swift response from Suppliers to respond to Outlet/customers
Prepare claims reports to detect quality/manufacturing issues and mishandling
Provide information on irregularities to Buyers for better buying decisions and Warehouse/Retail Operations for better handling of stocksSystems & ProcessesManage workflows and monitor adherence to SOPs
Lead and implement new SOPs and systems to elevate work processes and efficiency
Conduct process performance monitoring, reporting, analysis and work closely with related departments to ensure efficiencyReporting & CompliancePrepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse productivity, cost savings, and supply chain performance.What we're looking for
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar supply chain management role, preferably supporting multiple sales channels (retail, e-commerce, wholesale, import/export) will be an added advantage.
Familiar with import/export logistics including custom clearance and freight forwarding.
Familiar with ERP and WMS system.
Proficient in MS Excel especially power pivot.
Proven track record in optimizing inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and data analysis tools
Adaptable to changes in the business environment and able to implement innovative solutions
