An established multinational electronics products manufacturer is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage the entire supply chain process, including planning, inventory management, logistics operations, and customer service to enhance business development, ensure sustainability, and achieve customer satisfaction.
This position directly reports to the Regional Supply Chain Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement supply chains that support business strategies, by adapting to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, and cost-effective strategies.
Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
Ensure the monthly manufacturing plan reflects the sales volume required, machine loading, and delivery status (Sales & Operations Planning).
Warehouse management including control of goods receipt, storage, issuance, and rejection of materials and ensure all raw materials are labelled, stored, handled, and controlled to the Quality Assurance Procedure and Health and Safety requirements.
Communicate with internal customers & external suppliers regarding different procurement needs.
Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Review corrective actions and ensure compliance on the outcome of customer complaints investigation.
Locate and assess potential suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate terms to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
Organize monthly, quarterly, and annual stocktaking exercises and ensure the adequate supply of trained personnel to expedite stocktaking.
Monitor the tendering evaluation process to ensure adherence to regulations and applicable legislation.
Manage employees as appropriate within the procurement team to optimize business performance and the underwriting service to customers.
Ensure optimal material presence across logistics and production systems.
Key Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study.
Minimum 8 years' supply chain management experience in the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in supply chain software and tools, including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), WMS (Warehouse Management System), and MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14000, and ISO18000 standards.
Prior experience working with colleagues from various functions across different regions.
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
Global awareness, good business ethics, and an understanding of legal contracts.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, management, and collaborative skills.
Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
Fluency in Mandarin is preferred due to interaction with suppliers and customers in China.
