The Supply Chain Manager for Vietnam at AkzoNobel will lead and manage the Supply Planning Team, ensuring exceptional customer service while maintaining optimal balance between costs and inventory for finished goods and materials.
Key Accountabilities:Lead the supply planning team in the Vietnam planning HUB and local Raw Material/Packaging Material Planner.
Demonstrate leadership aligned with company values, guiding the team towards success.
Implement effective governance within the planning team and establish MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement) and Tier meetings.
Set objectives, evaluate performance, and promote team development.
Collaborate with BU leadership to achieve business targets.
Develop detailed plans to enhance service, inventory management, SLOBs, process efficiency, and improvement.
Provide guidance to team members in daily activities management.
Work closely with regional supply planning and hub planning managers to implement strategies and plans within the region.
Foster collaboration with demand management, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, customer service, and finance teams.

ExperienceJob Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Manager role in Vietnam should possess the following qualifications and experience:
University Education with a minimum of 6 years' experience in FMCG, Paint/Coating, or Retail industries, specifically in Supply Chain Improvement or consulting roles.
Extensive expertise in Supply Planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, and the use of planning tools. Proficiency in Supply Planning, planning in SAP ECC and BI is essential.
Demonstrated Project Management skills, capable of leading and executing initiatives to successful completion.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective communication across teams and regions.
