In this hands-on role, you will be a team player responsible for facilitating effective staffing for our fast-paced organization while providing exemplary customer service and other HR administrative activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports.
Provides administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of HRIS/compensation/benefits and/or staffing/employment.
Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.
Processes staffing reports via our HRIS/ATS.
Interacts with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, department heads, and public and private agencies.
Provides clerical and operational support to other human resource staff.
Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
Manages the requisition initiations for all North American UCT sites within the HRIS system.
Confidential data entry such as entering new hires into ADP HRIS (HRIS subject to change).
Works on special projects in support of the Staffing organization.
Trains new employees as required on self-service HR tools.
Assists with audit and reporting of site staffing programs.
Maintains employee hardcopy files and inputs employee personal data into the human resources information/computer system (HRIS) database.
Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information.
Assists with recruiting such as sourcing resumes, phone screens, and interview scheduling.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Social media knowledge.
Ability to interface effectively and establish trust with employees, managers, and groups at all levels in the company.
Strong sense of ethics and confidentiality with regard to employee and business issues.
Ability to build strong partnerships with line managers.
Strong computer skills (MS Office suite, particularly Excel) with some HRIS exposure.
Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Experience Requirement:
At least 3 years of work experience in a Human Resources support position.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily in an office environment during standard office hours.
Physical Demands:
Ability to kneel, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers.
Ability to sit or stand for sustained periods of time.
Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
Ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods of time may be required.
Subject to frequent interruptions.
May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computers, etc.
Travel:
Work may require out-of-town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting) up to 15%.
