Key Responsibilities Develop and review overall Malaysia tax business plans and tax strategies.Carry out strategic planning and development of tax business unit's performance. Develop and implement quality management strategies and plans (including resource, systems, timescales and financials).Translate clients' needs for excellent solutions delivery:Responsible for overall client servicing of the group and accountable for any jobs lost due to controllable reasons, e.g. poor client service, missing deadlines, poor quality of work.Responsible for ensuring that commitment to clients are followed up in a timely manner, that the clients are satisfied and to continually engage with clients.Perform high-level review and provide value-add to the work to be submitted to clients.Maintain good client relationship with close client communication, in order to assess customer satisfaction for possible improvements and identify possible expansion of services.Review tax service fee and propose fee increase where appropriate. Proactive in business development and assist the business development team on clients' enquiries.Develop an in depth knowledge of existing and potential clients, their industry and key contacts to maintain a pipeline of leads.Meet prospective clients and ensure fee proposals and all follow-through is completed from "cradle to grave" process.Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities and conduct annual performance appraisals.Oversee and manage the immigration and business licensing services that are provided to clientsMentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results.Requirements At least 8 years of professional tax experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial capacity.Experienced in servicing a portfolio of international and large multinational clients.Extensive knowledge of IFRS and local business compliance rules.
