Team Lead (Leadership Development & Succession Planning)

To develop, review, and execute a comprehensive talent strategy, enhance leadership initiatives, refine procedures and processes in relation to talent development, further study/upward mobility, career development, and succession planning for SIRIM's talents and leaders.
The aim is to build a robust leadership pipeline with the right competencies which plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization's long-term sustainability and business success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design a succession planning framework and strategies to ensure readily available successors in managerial positions, key roles, and critical positions across the organisation including SIRIM subsidiaries.
Collaborate with the leaders to implement assessment plans and structured development/leadership programs for their successors to ensure the closure of skill gaps and leadership competencies to build exceptional quality leaders.
Develop and implement career development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities in line with SIRIM business requirements.
Identify critical competencies required for current and future business needs.
Plan, develop and review procedures, guidelines, and systems in succession planning and talent development areas to ensure the implementations are in alignment with the best market practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 6 – 10 years of working experience within a similar capacity.
Good understanding of talent development frameworks and succession planning methodologies that align with current trends.
Possess excellent organisational and planning skills with a strong ability in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Exceptional presentation and leadership skills.
Possess an innovative mindset and ability to align technology initiatives with strategic business objectives.
