Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical, Computer or Software
Understanding of electronics.
Knowledge in photonics and optical transceivers are an advantage.
Good computer literacy, communication skills, and ability to report information and data.
Familiar with circuit diagrams and have a strong background in electronics.
Familiarity with test instruments (Splicers, Multimeters, Power meters, optical switches, etc.)
Experience in troubleshooting PCBA preferred.
Experience in performing fiber splicing is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with support teams as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Support Production and NPI programs of ROADM products.
Assist Product Engineer in investigating manufacturing issues related to Assembly and Test processes, identifying problems, implementing solutions, and reporting findings to Engineers.
Assist engineers in yield improvements, projects, evaluation, and qualification.
Monitor product yield and sustainability.
Provide debug disposition on daily fallout modules and improve debug accuracy.
Communicate effectively and interface well with peers to enhance teamwork.
Support PE evaluations, projects, and analysis, including:
BOM cost improvements evaluations (over temp).
Test time reduction projects.
Prime Yield improvement.
Support and confirm OBA failure and analysis.Drive continual improvement and efficient use of resources.
Perform other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
Practice Risk-Based Thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
Ensure compliance with ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, and applicable codes.
