Technician Electrical

Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining all electrical and operating building services plant and installations.
Supervising the work of contractors and engaging in repair works.
Identifying technical problems as well as planning and carrying out preventive maintenance works.
Initiating engagement of electrical contractors.
Initiating orders and spares as required.
Facilitating the implementation of Quality Assurance procedures ISO9002 and the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment procedures.
Maintaining and updating the asset register for all Electrical plant and equipment.
Assisting in training hospital staff for the safe operation of electrical and fire safety.
Maintaining and updating all electrical drawings, specifications, and manuals.
Ensuring that all relevant laws, statutes, and regulations are complied with.
Undertaking other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time or as necessary for the effective realization of the job purpose.
