Minimum RequirementsRequires Diploma/SKM/Certificate in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Automation/Electronic/ Mechatronic Engineering/Facility Management and related field.
Minimum 2 years work experience in production and engineering field.
Able to speak in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Preferably mechanical or automation technician with experience, specializing in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repairing.
Prefer someone who understands the motors, pumps, and control systems in utilities.
Able to write summary report in English.
ResponsibilitiesTo carry out preventive maintenance works as scheduled, repairing work and special tasks.
To comply with the report recording, generating and maintaining.
To provide feedback to Engineering Coordinator and Department Head for any nonconformity encountered.
Monitor the performance of cooling towers, chillers, and utility systems (e.g., compressors, electric boilers, HPAC).
Operate equipment to maintain optimal temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
Regularly check system parameters like water levels, temperature, and refrigerant pressure.
Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, replacing parts) on chillers, cooling towers, and utilities.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues like inefficiency, leaks, and electric or mechanical failures.
Replace or repair faulty components like fans, motors, pumps, compressors, and control systems.
Oversee water treatment processes to prevent corrosion, scaling, and microbial growth in cooling towers.
Manage chemical dosing, filtration, and water quality monitoring.
Attend to machinery breakdowns, reply and submit root cause analysis report.
Ensure that reports and records are done properly.
All other duties as instructed by the management from time to time.
