Review and analyze tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts. Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and overheads for projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in estimates. Conduct market research to obtain current pricing for materials and services. Assess risks associated with bids and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference and continuous improvement. Prepare and submit tender proposals within specified deadlines. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify project requirements and respond to inquiries. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in estimating. Who are they looking for? Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience in estimating. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ready to join this role?
