Job Description:
Provide manufacturing sustaining engineering support and monitor OSAT test activity. This includes monitoring and reporting of yields, disposition of material, and yield enhancement.
Facilitate new product qualification activities including test transfer and product correlations as required. Evaluate yield and cost. Ensure process and equipment are optimized for production.
Debug/troubleshoot consigned test hardware and maintain systematic debug guide documentation.
Provide periodic reports on engineering projects, test operations, and yields.
Coordinate with planners and OSAT to optimize test operations to meet shipment schedules, identify problems that restrict manufacturing throughput, and recommend solutions.
Drive cost reduction projects and continuously improve offshore production test capability and capacity.
Support the quality team to identify test-related root causes for any quality issues and ensure and monitor corrective action implementation.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field and 2+ years of test engineering/manufacturing experience in semiconductor test labs or production.
Experience with operating basic test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers desired.
Experienced with analog, digital, or mixed signal testing on commercial ATE systems and customized bench tests.
Solid background on Catalyst and Chroma, AG93K ATE tester platform.
Basic knowledge of test handlers and probers.
Programming software experience (C/C++/VB, etc.).
Ability to read and understand board schematics, basic circuit designs, and layout drawings for debugging purposes.
Experience in test development and releasing test solutions to production will be an added advantage.
Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and plotting; knowledge of SPC tools, OEE.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to learn in a production environment working with new types of test equipment and software.
