JR70150 Test EngineerResponsibilitiesIdentify alternate test platforms, develop test programs, and enable the test platform to improve test coverage.
Apply sophisticated customer use case test sequences (including deterministic and random usage cases) to improve test cost efficiency.
Develop engineering test programs, software tools, and hardware interfaces for initial silicon for new non-volatile semiconductor memory products, also supporting special requests for enabling silicon debug throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop and maintain characterization and qualification test programs based on datasheet and customer specifications.
Design novel test algorithms and develop test programs for validating new NAND features and commands, including NAND operation at high-speed.
Explore continual improvement in test program development approaches to enable sophisticated characterization and validation methodologies aligned with the growth in customer requirements and higher data rates.
Support Electrical Failure Analysis by simulating NAND sequences on NAND tester, investigating root causes of reported device issues, and collaborating with NAND Design, Application Engineering, Product, and System teams to drive closure of device issues.
Automate program development and workflow processes whenever possible.
RequirementsRequires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering.
Effective interpersonal skills in written and spoken English, including documentation and presentation.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with careful attention to root cause.
Proactive towards continuous improvement and self-development.
Software development proficiency (e.g.
C-based programming) and scripting (e.g.
Perl, Python).
