Currently, we are in search of an Executive who thrives in a dynamic work setting, possesses meticulous attention to detail, is self-reliant, highly motivated, and exudes confidence and proficiency in engaging with clients and colleagues in a courteous, accessible, and optimistic manner. Our diverse clientele encompasses a spectrum ranging from expansive multinational corporations to individuals hailing from various corners of the globe.
Responsibilities:Providing consultancy services to clients namely on trademark, Industrial Design, and copyright.
Familiar with relevant documentations for submission to the IP Office.
Managing and monitoring the entire application process until completion of the process (issuance of certificate).
Drafting submissions/arguments in response to refusal notice / advising client on the options to overcome any refusals from the IP Office.
Overseeing clerical staff, ensuring database is updated, deadlines are met, inquiries are attended promptly, and reporting letters are handled in a timely fashion.
Preparing monthly reports and updates for HOD on the number of cases handled by the team.
Staying updated on the current changes in the IP Law or procedure from time to time.
Writing articles to create awareness or updating on IP rights in general.
Requirements:A recognized Degree in Law.
A team leader with analytic, proactive and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under pressure, meticulous and meet short deadlines.
At least 5 years of experience in handling Trademark, Industrial Design or copyright matters.
Sound knowledge of laws relating to Intellectual Property Rights would be an added advantage.
Good personality and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
