Able to identify when to alter policy terms and the resulting impact Review and challenge market/customer strategies, applying in-depth market understanding and innovative views Collaborate with internal stakeholders and business channels to generate outputs, proposals and resolve account management issues Tactfully navigate key regulatory and risk management obligations of the Company Requirements WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU: Minimum 3 to 4 years of underwriting experience In depth knowledge of insurance, with a focus on Personal Accident, Travel and All Risks/Miscellaneous underwriting experience.
Property underwriting will be advantageous Experience in producing a profitable portfolio of business within underwriting authority Strong analytical skills to assess exposures, coverages, terms and conditions to appropriately assign underwriting decision on risks Knowledge and proficiency in the use of underwriting tools, applications, guidelines, and data analytics Encourage collaboration in support of the end-to-end journey Strong negotiation, analytical skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail Considers the various forms of impact in an end-to-end process and learns eagerly from past projects Highly motivated to apply new skills to novel situations Constantly looking for the best option, identifying positives and negatives, to make effective decisions Benefits PERKS YOU'LL GET TO ENJOY WHILE WORKING HERE!
