Verification & Characterization Senior Technician/ Associate Engineer

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.
Responsibilities:Provide electro-optical characterization testing support to R&D and other internal customers.
Effectively carry out characterization lab operations in terms of cycle time and maintenance cost.
Deliver high-quality test/measurement results in accordance with documented procedures.
Maintain lab equipment to ensure accuracy is within control.
Assist engineers in engineering-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:Diploma in Science/Engineering.
Min 7 years' experience in semiconductor/LED testing and measurement.
Experience in handling test measurement equipment/programming. Experience in laboratory work will be an added advantage.
Able to work in a team and carry out tasks independently.
Advance knowledge in optics and photonics, and in LED/Semiconductor testing.
Hands-on experience in Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
