In this role, you're expected to:
The Fund Accounting Senior Manager Operations Support is a senior management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees, leading a variety of MIS reporting and Business Administrative activities in coordination with the Fund Accounting Operations. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of MIS and departmental coordinated activities executions associated with our Fund Accounting clients.
Collaborate with other APAC fund accounting sites to streamline and centralize to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Periodically connect with other APAC fund accounting sites and collate KPI data for management information and reporting.
Leads the standardization on client presentations and ensure reporting requirements are implemented as agreed with clients.
Coordinate with senior stakeholders of APAC fund accounting sites for internal and external meetings.
Ensure the preparation, collation and distribution of agendas, meeting information packs, minutes and reports and managing subsequent actions for external and internal meetings are well-organized.
Ensure smooth deliveries of Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reporting to stakeholders.
Implement global reporting solutions in APAC to standardize management information solutions.
Provide relevant information to iBRC team including audit samples and MIS reporting.
Establish robust governance model across APAC fund accounting sites on collaboration, best practices sharing, and other relevant key statistics.
Collate and manage all resourcing related requests for approvals, turnover, savings for the region. Provide monthly reporting on staffing status for each site and region.
Collect and review all new staffing requests (includes new deal), prior to APAC Deal Review.
Provide support on any ad-hoc departmental requests for APAC and EMEA.
Support overall fund accounting team's administrative activities and people including collaboration with other department asks.
Coordinate departmental tasks for Continuity of Business events and Record Management Governance Tool.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:
Qualifications:
8-10 years of relevant experience.
Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA.
Experience in fund accounting.
Experience in accounting within financial services, strategic management, resource/expense management, and managing client relationships.
Extensive knowledge of funds services and process.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
