DescriptionJob Summary:The Vice President - Investments drives the distribution and growth of the company's investment products and services.
The role involves planning and executing events, achieving sales targets, and coordinating marketing activities to promote the company's investment products to local and international financial institutions, corporates, and high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:Funds Distribution & Business DevelopmentLead efforts in distributing the company's products and services and expanding the business.
Identify and acquire new clients locally and offshore.Event Planning & OrganizationPlan, organize, and execute events and activities aimed at promoting the company's investment products and services.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
Achieve sales and business targets related to client acquisition and AUM growth.
Develop and implement strategies to increase client engagement and conversion rates.Marketing CoordinationCoordinate all marketing efforts, including email blasts, direct mailers, and social media activities.
Prepare and distribute marketing reports to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Reporting & ComplianceEnsure that all necessary reports are completed accurately and submitted within given deadlines.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.Self-DevelopmentProactively seek opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in business development and fund distribution.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, products, and competitors.Ad Hoc AssignmentsUndertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by your superior.Qualifying Criteria:Education:Tertiary education in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the financial services or investment industry.
Relevant experience with a proven track record in client acquisition and fund distribution.
Skills:Good understanding of investment products and services of financial markets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Others:Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Work Location:Based in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baharu.
