As part of its "Happy to Care" sustainable development program, Club Med aims to offer its stakeholders eco-designed villages, built and operated with the concern of a customer offer aligned on one hand with the group's values (the moments of happiness are shared; they cannot be experienced at the expense of others and the nature) and on the other hand with the strong "healthy" and "eco-friendly" market trends.
While there is a sustainable development department for the corporate, the business units, in charge of the operational implementation of the strategy defined by the corporate department, must have the human resources to implement the CSR ambition of the BU, with the various BU head office stakeholders as well as with the resorts within its perimeter (GC resorts: Club Premium All Inclusive and Club Med Joyviews).
MissionsCSR Coordination:
Ensure the implementation of the defined CSR strategy.
Product:
Support the Product & Services team for the integration of the CSR objectives of the BU in the definition and deployment of the product.
Operational implementation of the resorts:
Ensure the installation of the necessary equipment for resorts opening.
Support the operations in the deployment of products and services as part of these openings.
Support operations teams to present CSR initiatives to the owners of the Resorts.
Responsible operation of the resorts:
Maintain and develop the approaches of the resorts being already certified (deploy the existing methodology).
Set up the approach for the Resorts not yet certified (deploy the existing methodology).
Report the progress to the BU and Corporate.
Support for local initiatives:
Research and plan the implementation of partnership projects for environmental protection and development near the resorts of the BU.
Coordinate solidarity projects via the Club Med Foundation.
Support local teams to set up quality partnerships.
Methodology:
Be proactive and participate in the continuous improvement of the worldwide methodology for managing responsible resort operations, in collaboration with the Corporate sustainable development manager.
Promotion of CSR commitments:
Be the interface with marketing and Product and Services for the visibility of the resort commitments as well as the BU.
Develop the resort signage in conjunction with marketing and Corporate CSR communication manager.
ProfileEducation: Engineer school, Business School degree, University (Bac + 5).
Significant experience in piloting sustainable development challenges within companies.
The candidate must be mobile traveling across the 10 China resorts, curious and must demonstrate good analytical skills. Team spirit, autonomy, organization, and dynamism will be of great importance.
Fluent in English both written and spoken. French would be a plus.
Proficiency in the Microsoft package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Adequacy with Club Med's values.
